Media Kit

Everything you need to write about, link to, or showcase WaPay — logo, colours, typography, voice, and a one-liner you can copy straight in.

Logo

The wordmark is two-tone, no space, capital W and P. "Wa" takes the background's opposite — white on dark, Midnight on light. "Pay" is always WaPay Green #22c55e, on dark and on light alike. The wordmark is a logotype, which WCAG exempts from contrast requirements, so it keeps the brand green at the one place the brand is being stated. See the colour rule below for green used as ordinary text. Don't italicise the wordmark or use any other green.

Colours

Tap a hex to copy. Use the green only as an accent. Surfaces sit on white or the midnight palette depending on the context — the WaPay site itself runs on white. Green is always WaPay Green #22c55e — fills, the two-tone wordmark, and green text alike. One green, no variants. Note that #22c55e reads at 2.3:1 on white: that is fine for the wordmark, which WCAG exempts as a logotype, and it is below the 4.5:1 AA threshold for ordinary text, so keep green text to short accents like eyebrows and avoid it for anything a reader has to read at length.

Voice

Plain English, no jargon. Short sentences. Verbs over nouns. "You" not "users". Avoid debt-collection language — we say "payment reminders".

Do

  • Write "WaPay" — one word, capital W, capital P.
  • Lead with the customer benefit: "Get paid in 30 seconds."
  • Say "small businesses", "sole traders", "trade businesses".
  • Refer to messages as "payment reminders" or "payment requests".
  • Use sentence case for headings and buttons.

Don't

  • Don't write "Wapay", "WAPAY", "Wa Pay", or "Wa-Pay".
  • Don't italicise the wordmark, or use a green outside the three above.
  • Don't set long passages of body copy in WaPay Green on white — it reads at 2.3:1. Green is for the wordmark and short accents.
  • Don't use words like "debt collection", "chase", "demand".
  • Don't say "platform" or "SaaS" — say "service" or "app".
  • Don't put a flag, country name, or region in marketing copy unless we explicitly target that region.

Boilerplate

A drop-in description for press releases, partner announcements, or app-store listings.

One-liner. WaPay is the simplest way for small businesses to get paid — invoices, payment links, and automatic reminders, all over WhatsApp.

Short. WaPay turns a single WhatsApp message into an invoice with a Stripe payment link. The customer taps Pay Now; the money lands in your bank. Automatic weekly reminders handle the follow-ups so you don't have to.

Long. WaPay is a back-office service for trade businesses, sole traders and small companies. Quotes, invoices, payments, payment reminders and customer records — all run from WhatsApp. No app to download, no dashboard to learn. Businesses send a single message; their customer receives a branded payment link and pays in one tap. WaPay only charges when a payment is collected, so there are no subscription fees and no risk to try.
