Apply

Fill out the partner form. Admin reviews — usually within 24 hours. Once approved, your code is live.

Share your link

You get an opaque code like WP-A8F2C1 plus a wa.me link and a web link. Share via email, WhatsApp, business cards, anywhere.

Business registers

When a business signs up through your link, the referral is stamped on their account for life.

Get paid monthly

Every Stripe-confirmed payment they take earns you 10% of WaPay's net. Settles by SEPA bank transfer on the 5th of each month.

FAQ

What counts as a "paid transaction"?

Any Stripe-confirmed payment to a referred business through a WaPay-issued payment link. Manual mark-paid and bank-transfer reconciliation don't generate commission.

How long does the commission last?

Lifetime. As long as the business stays on WaPay and processes payments, you earn — no time cap, no decay.

What if a payment is refunded?

The commission on that payment is reversed. If you'd already been paid out, it's deducted from your next month's payout.

Can I refer my own business?

No. If your email or WhatsApp number matches the business's, the referral is blocked and logged for review.

Minimum payout?

SEPA payouts have no minimum — you'll see what you earned each month. Stripe Express auto-payouts (coming soon) require ≥ €50 balance.

Tax?

You're responsible for declaring commission as income. WaPay provides an annual summary you can give to your accountant.

Commission

  • You earn 10% of WaPay's net revenue (the 1% platform fee, capped at €10 per invoice) on every Stripe-confirmed payment received by a business you referred.
  • Commission accrues per transaction. Manual mark-paid and bank-transfer reconciliation are excluded.
  • Lifetime, with no expiry on the referral relationship.

Payouts

  • Default method is SEPA bank transfer to your IBAN, paid monthly on or around the 5th.
  • When Stripe Express auto-payouts ship, opt-in for automatic transfers above €50.
  • WaPay locks the EUR conversion rate per payout. The amount you see is the amount you receive.

Refunds & clawbacks

  • If a referred payment is refunded, the commission for that payment is reversed.
  • If the commission was already paid out, it's deducted from your next month's payout.
  • WaPay does not chase partners for past clawbacks.

Fraud & self-referral

  • You can't refer yourself — matching email or WhatsApp number triggers an automatic block.
  • WaPay may suspend or close a partner account for suspected fraud (e.g. shell businesses, artificial transactions). Historical earnings already paid are not clawed back; future accruals stop.

Changes & closure

  • WaPay may update these terms. New consent is required for material changes.
  • Either side may close the partner relationship at any time, in writing.
  • WaPay reserves the right to convert lifetime commission to a one-time buyout at fair market multiple, with mutual agreement.

Tax & compliance

  • You're responsible for declaring commission as income in your jurisdiction.
  • WaPay provides annual paid-out summaries on request.
  • Your contact + payout details are processed under WaPay's Privacy Policy.
