Automatic payment reminders on WhatsApp
Automatic payment reminders for small businesses and sole traders. WaPay sends a polite WhatsApp reminder with the payment link attached, and stops the moment the invoice is paid.
Get paid without the awkward conversation
Asking a customer for money you're owed is nobody's favourite job, so it gets put off and the invoice gets older. WaPay does it for you. When an invoice passes its due date, your customer gets a friendly reminder on WhatsApp with the payment link, so paying takes one tap.
Reminders follow a set schedule: the first three days after the due date, the next ten days later, and a final one three weeks after that. A customer never hears from you more than once a week, however many invoices they have open. The moment the invoice is paid, the reminders stop.
Reminders on WhatsApp, oversight in the web app
Reminders go out on their own. You can see where each one is, and step in when you want to.
- Send your invoice as normal. Reminders start on their own once it's overdue.
- Your customer gets a polite reminder with the payment link.
- After the third reminder, WaPay tells you, with a Send reminder button if you'd like to send one more.
- Paid another way? Reply PAID and the invoice number, and the reminders stop.
Customers can reply STOP at any time to opt out of reminders.
- Open Payments → Outstanding to see every unpaid invoice and when its next reminder goes.
- Open an invoice to see its reminder timeline: what's been sent and what's scheduled.
- Select several customers and tap Send reminder to to send one now.
- Mark an invoice paid from Invoices and its reminders stop.
